Human TGF-α antiserum was prepared by immunising rabbits with human TGF-α conjugated to ovalbumin. It cross-reacts 100% with human TGF-α and 50% with L-TGF-α. Cross-reactivity to human EGF is < 0.01%. This antiserum can be used to develop an enzyme immunoassay for TGF-α.
